The transition welcomes the next generation of leadership, with Hannah Gaffey and Daniel Gaffey, who have been in the business for some 10 years, joining the shareholder group alongside long-standing business leader Phil and his wife Paula, who has been a key figure in the company’s organisation for over 15 years.
The MBO forms a cornerstone of the company’s succession planning and strategic growth objectives as part of a carefully developed five-year business plan. The transaction will allow Phil more time to continue the succession planning journey, the mentoring of staff and provide essential support to international development and growing the business into new geographical regions through existing and new distribution networks.
Hannah and Daniel bring fresh perspectives and expertise and will play a key role in driving the digital transformation of the business. While on day-to-day operations, Daniel continues to expand his impact as Product Manager and Hannah coordinates manufacturing and logistics as Production Manager. Their involvement ensures Gaffey remains a family driven business committed to innovation, sustainability and customer-focused solutions.
“This is a significant and proud moment for our family and our business,” said Philip Gaffey, Managing Director. “With 10 years of involvement from Hannah and Daniel, we’ve built a strong foundation for the future. This MBO is not just about ownership; it’s about commitment—to our team, our customers, and the continued innovation that defines who we are.”
As Gaffey Technology looks to the future, the company remains dedicated to delivering cutting-edge water treatment technologies that support a safer, cleaner world.
